Don Abbey - Executive Vice President Quality, Regulatory & Medical Affairs, CareFusion Board Director Don Abbey is EVP of Quality, Regulatory and Medical Affairs for CareFusion. In this role, Don also has oversight for our R&D innovation process, as well as the CareFusion Center for Clinical Safety and Excellence. Don previously served as senior vice president of Quality and Regulatory Affairs for the Clinical and Medical Products segment of Cardinal Health. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Don served as vice president of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for the Critical Care division of Respironics, Inc. Previously, he held a number of leadership roles within the healthcare industry, including general manager of Welch Allyn’s cardiopulmonary business; vice president of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for Protocol Systems, Inc.; and, director of Quality Assurance for Heartstream, Inc. Don holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Washington State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington.
