Our Mission Statement
The mission of the CommNexus NEXT STAGE program is to increase the number and success of communications technology companies in San Diego County.

How it Works
The NextStage Program provides advice and assistance to entrepreneurs in areas such as fundraising, sales and marketing, product development, management, and strategy. Entrepreneurs that are accepted into the program prepare a presentation outlining a key business decision. The NextStage committee assembles a uniquely qualified group of executives for a two-hour scrub session. The group offers the entrepreneur:

Introductions to industry contacts

Volunteers run the NextStage program. There is no cost to the entrepreneurs. Because CommNexus includes leading individuals and companies, the panels are high-caliber. <more>

Selectivity
The NextStage program is very selective – only 8 – 12 companies are selected to participate each year. We accept companies from all stages – from concept, to thriving and profitable companies. All the entrepreneurs accepted into the program share these attributes:

They are passionate and knowledgeable.
They have a good idea.
They will accept feedback.
