Nagraj is a Senior Director at Qualcomm Ventures and heads up worldwide activities for the group. Nagraj has over 12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current role, he worked in various engineering and management capacities at Nortel, 3COM, Motorola, PRTM and Qualcomm. Nagraj currently manages and actively serves as a board observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Airplay Networks, GoTV Networks, Novarra, Obopay, Triage Wireless and WaveMarket.
Thomas G. Klopak, CEO, IntelliDOT Corp.
Prior to joining IntelliDOT Corporation, Tom focused on the biotechnology industry-first as the COO of Aurora Biosciences in San Diego, CA, and more recently as CEO of Aclara Biosciences in Mountain View, CA. Previously, he spent almost two decades in various roles at Raychem Corporation, including management and strategic development for both new
and established businesses in the US and internationally. Mr. Klopack has expertise in formulating and applying appropriate processes and responding to management challenges in organizations ranging from raw startups to large multinational divisions. His multifunctional experience in successful biotechnology and high technology businesses has resulted in over $400 million in sales in various organizations.
James Sweeney, Executive Chairman, CardioNet
James has served as CardioNet's Executive Chairman and as a member of the board of directors since November 2007, and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board from April 2000 to November 2007. From 1997 to 1999, James served as the founder, Chairman and CEO for Cerner Bridge Medical, a company specializing in medication error prevention. From 1994 to 1996, James was the founder, Chairman and CEO of Coram, Inc. a home intravenous, or IV therapy company. James's long and illustrious career includes roles as Chairman and CEO for each of the following companies: McGaw, Inc. (acquired by IVAX Corp. in 1994) an IV solution manufacturer; Central Admixture Pharmacy Services (CAPS), a subsidiary of B. Braun Medical Inc., an IV solution manufacturer; CareGivers, a high tech home care partnership; CarePartners, a 24/7/365 nursing call center; and Caremark, Inc., a health infusion services and prescription management company.
Tom Watlington, CEO, Triage Wireless
Tom has over 25 years of experience in the medical devices sector. Prior to joining Triage Wireless, he was President of Naviscan PET Systems, a medical imaging company. For 10 years he served as SVP of Commercial Operations, EVP and COO of Biosite Inc., a leader in the field of medical diagnostics. In addition, he spent 14 years at Boeringher Mannheim Corporation in various sales, marketing and strategic roles, including VP of Marketing for the Diabetes Care division.
