Regional Breakfast Series

San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina
May 15, 2009 | 7am-10:30am

The news has not been good: fearful consumers and frozen credit markets; jobs disappearing and stores closing; new cars waiting for buyers and State governments begging for cash. But after three long cold years in the housing sector, there is a little green shoot or two coming up. Can Spring be far away? Might the bank bailout, loose monetary policy and fiscal stimulus take hold? Is there a reason to feel optimistic again?

The 4th Annual San Diego Economic Outlook in May will discuss these issues along with a focused view of the San Diego regional economy.

Keynote Address
As the largest publicly traded company based in San Diego, Qualcomm provides a unique perspective into San Diego’s advantages and struggles as a high tech cluster within California during these trying economic times.
