PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
It's the Christmas shopping season in 2008 (no, that's not a typo).  Mr. and Mrs. Buff and Biffy SanDiegan are out shopping for the latest home networking technology so they can move their entertainment media all around their nice house in Carlsbad. They want to "connect" all their electronic media toys together to share content including their HDTVs in several rooms, their gaming stations, their stereo systems throughout the house and even their digital camera and camcorders files.  They want to be able to move around movies, television programs, music programs, their own multimedia content and even internet and computer data. They've considered wireless technologies like ultra-wideband and 802.11n and they've looked at wired technologies like coax and powerline.  They're just so confused about which way to go.  So, they've assembled a panel of industry experts to help them make the decision.  Join them as they get advice from these experts about the pros and cons of their various options.  After all, not all of these technologies may survive in the marketplace, so it's important to understand which is best.  Come hear the panel discussion and bring your own questions about which technology to count on in the future as representatives from QUALCOMM, PulseLink, Staccato, Entropic, and Conexant share their visions about the "media connected home of the future".
