It may seem absurd to say something like "the world has changed radically", but within the context of the Entertainment industry it's an accurate statement. After more than fifty years, the tried and true distribution model of Broadcast Television has been radically disrupted in just over a year. But unlike last time such a radical disruption occurred, eight years ago when Napster was released, the anti-establishment disruptor reaped spoils to the effect of $1.65B.
Clearly, the world has changed.
This discussion will focus on the confluence of factors that led to the current state of the Internet and Entertainment industries. The relationship between these inevitable bedfellows will be explored and a map will be given to guide you through the emerging new world that no one quite understands...yet.

David Dudas,
CTO/Co-Founder, Eyespot
David Dudas, co-founder of Eyespot, serves as the CTO for the company where he oversees new media applications and manages the company’s product development. Dudas was instrumental in developing the company’s core strategy as well as launching its website and online services in April 2006. Dudas is also actively involved in the company’s business development.
Prior to founding Eyespot, Dudas served as the Director of Engineering at Vivendi-Universal/MP3.com where he led the development of online products and services for the company’s media properties including Universal Studios, Universal Music Group, and yourmobile.com. Dudas has also held executive positions as Streamload and SIPphone.
Dudas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Michigan State University.
