Mobile media is rapidly gaining acceptance as one of the marketing and advertising vehicles. Generation Y, Millennials and business users are quickly adopting cell phones and portable devices as the most ubiquitous device for all their needs. Mobile media or portable media is the 21st Century phenomenon of viewing multimedia on a handheld device (mobile phone, PDA, or portable media player) anytime, anywhere. Such companies as Levy, Jeep and others have used mobile television over cell phones to advertise their products to highly select target markets. Other types of advertising on mobile media include podcasting, text messaging, multimedia messaging and clips.

The next generation mobile media offers opportunities for marketers, advertisers as well as many other players and vendors in the value chain. What are the strategies behind utilizing this new medium? How can consumer and B2B technology companies incorporate mobile media in their marketing and communications efforts? Join us for a panel discussion on mobile media and its impact on advertising, marketing as well as a discussion on future trends that will impact players and vendors in the mobile media space.
