The Emerging Wireless SIG Presents...
What's in your WiFi?

Antennas are, in a sense, where the rubber hits the road in wireless devices. More than any other component, the antenna in your wireless device determines its useful range. If you use or specify wireless equipment such as WiFi or WiMAX, you should attend this event!
Smart antenna, multi-antenna, adaptive antennas, beamforming, and, of course, MIMO — what are the differences and similarities? How do these new solutions improve performance? Are traditional tests and measurements valid when evaluating multi-antenna architectures? How has this technology been accepted and what challenges does it face? What are its applications in improving WLAN communications as well as fixed and mobile wide area wireless communications, including WiMAX and WiBro?
Join us for a panel discussion on antenna solutions, how they’re changing performance in today’s wireless equipment, and their impact on the future of wireless communications.
