Bill Prindle, Deputy Director
American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy
Mr. Prindle directs ACEEE’s energy policy program, which conducts policy analysis and advocacy on energy efficiency issues at the national and state levels. He also continues to work on building energy codes and related new construction issues. Within ACEEE, he oversees organization development, communications, conferences, publications, operations, and buildings programs. In more than 25 years in the energy field, he has worked in regional planning, corporate communications, management consulting, solar building products, and association management. He has testified before Congress, appeared on radio and TV, and been published frequently as an expert on energy efficiency in buildings. Bill earned a B.A. degree in Psychology from Swarthmore College and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the boards of such organizations of the Energy and Environmental Building Association, the Association of Energy Services Professionals, and the National Fenestration Rating Council.
Adib Nasle, President
EDSA
Adib Nasle joined EDSA in 1992, and learned the business "from the ground up" -- for years, having served as manager of the Company's Quality Assurance, product management, and marketing functions. He was named President of EDSA in 2000. Because of his varied roles, he possesses an extremely detailed, hands-on knowledge of the electrical power marketplace, as well as EDSA's software applications and underlying technology. Adib also led the Company's successful compliance efforts with the International Standards Organization (ISO), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee (NUPIC), the Department of Defense (DoD), NATO, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and others. He received his BA from Michigan State University, along with post-graduated studies at Wayne State University and University of California San Diego.
Terry Mohn, Technology Strategist
Sempra Energy
Terry Mohn is a technology strategist and enterprise architect for Sempra Energy utilities, representing San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Gas Company. He supports the company’s technology strategy and delivery, with focus on system architecture and design, business strategy, technology investment strategies and business technology education. Terry specializes in technology integration issues, primarily supporting strategies for smart grid, home automation, utility application communication systems, distribution automation systems, smart metering infrastructure, demand response, sensor fusion, system integration, service oriented architecture, autonomous device control and micro-grid communications. He also represents the Sempra Energy utilities in the major industry consortia for Intelligrid, GridWise, Demand Response, ZigBee, UtilityAMI, OpenAMI, and OpenHAN. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences focused on emerging technologies, clean technologies, wireless communication systems, Radio Frequency Identification, utility IT architecture, and smart grid strategies. He presently serves as vice-chairman, GridWise Alliance, a national advocacy group focused on modernizing the nation’s electric grid.
