LG, in the Federal Circuit decision in Lucent v. Microsoft, and in the Federal Court for the Southern District of California decision in Broadcom v. Qualcomm dealing with ethics.

Matthew Bernstein

Matthew is a member in the San Diego office, where his practice focuses on patent litigation and patent trial work. Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Autodesk, American Suzuki, Microtune, Crossroads, and others have turned to Matthew to handle their patent infringement cases. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants extensively, and has done so  in district courts throughout the country and in the ITC. Matthew recently tried five patent jury cases. In addition to his patent infringement work, Matthew also represents clients in trademark, trade secret, trade dress, copyright, and government contract matters. His clients in this area include Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Lorillard Tobacco, Metabolife, General Atomics, and others.In 2007 and 2008, Matthew was recognized as a Top Attorney in IP Litigation in San Diego.� rior to joining Mintz Levin, Matthew was a principal in the patent litigation department of Fish & Richardson. Matthew is admitted to practice in California. He received his B.A. from Tufts University  (1995), and his J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law (1998).

Jerald Meyer is the partner in charge of the Electrical, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering Department of The Nath Law Group in Alexandria, VA. Mr. Meyer’s practice areas include patent prosecution, searching, opinion writing, licensing and assisting in managing the patent portfolios of various firm clients.  He is experienced in working with specialty chemicals, with a concentration in developing polymeric products based on desired physical and chemical properties.  He is also proficient in the areas of wireless technology, consumer electronics, power generation, synthetic gemstone manufacturing, heat recovery, petroleum refining, herbal compositions, nutriceuticals, small molecule chemistry, and drug delivery systems.  Mr. Meyer's experience also includes monitoring and enforcing intellectual property rights in domestic and international markets.
