The Marketing SIG Presents...

Three Brands Speak Out on the Effectiveness of Social Media

You’ve heard the buzz: it’s all about social media… Twitter, Facebook, bookmarking, LinkedIn, social networks, microblogs and video. B2C and B2B brands are going digital and these online conversations may determine the impact your organization will have on the customer of the future. The implications of time and platform shifting are profound and lasting. Consumers have a remote and they control time, place, content and interface. A brand is now defined by a sum of conversations, and we are in a pull world, not a push one.

If you are in the push business, it’s time to rethink.

Come learn how three companies successfully use social media to influence perceptions, build awareness and reach customers. Get your questions answered, come away with new tips and find out how you can integrate social media into your marketing program.

PANELISTS

Ginger Anderson
Marketing Manager,
Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. (Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes)
Ginger Anderson is the creative force behind Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp’s online business strategy.  She joined Garden Fresh as a Regional Marketing Manager in 2001 with a Communications degree from UCSD, where she saw the possibilities that emerging technology could have for the organization.  Her efforts have lead to an online club with over 900,000 members, a guest friendly and interactive website and being on the forefront of emerging social media marketing. Now, as a Graphic Designer and Web Manager she adds social media management to her expanding resume. As traditional outlets for marketing have begun to falter, and consumer confidence has declined, she has found a way to reach out and embrace Garden Fresh Restaurant’s guest base and engage them daily in a very organic way.  Both personally and professionally she has embraced Twitter and Facebook and with the help of Red Door Interactive has turned them into a priority for her company’s marketing objectives.
