Evolution of Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Where Will Bluetooth Go Next?
Bluetooth low energy is the next step in the evolution of Bluetooth wireless technology. Consuming a fraction of the power, it will give consumers new ways and new places - like sports, wellness and entertainment - to put Bluetooth technology to use. As usual, San Diego is a hotbed of activity for this new wireless technology with the R&D operations of several companies based here.
Nick Hunn, chair of the Bluetooth SIG evangelization committee, will present an overview of the technology, its market, and target products. Nick will share his vision of how this new Bluetooth technology will impact mobile operators, mHealth, and the sports and fitness markets. Specifically he will cover the need for Bluetooth low energy, technology features that differ from regular Bluetooth and target markets and products. Following Nick Hunn's presentation will be a panel available to answer more questions.
If your company is developing Bluetooth products or you just what to learn about the latest in Bluetooth technology, this is your chance to get the story direct from the Bluetooth SIG Committee and leading Bluetooth developers.
