Consumers and enterprises continue to expand their use of the Internet for a broader range of personal and business applications.  At the same time, we are using an expanding set of connected devices to access and use the Internet.  Past walls and barriers that would separate private and public networks are also rapidly dissolving, requiring new security paradigms and approaches.  All of this has led to new and innovative security threats looking to steal, disrupt or simply wreak havoc on our world.  On the industry side, there has been significant consolidation leading to a handful of IT security players providing broad, integrated suites of IT security solutions.  They dominate in the market with their strong brands, global channel reach and entrenched positions with existing customers.  Lastly, the venture community is in the middle of a large scale shake-out with less capital being deployed to a smaller group of start-ups.

What does all of these mean to IT security start-ups?  Come hear from a panel of leading VCs who are active in IT security.  They will address:

·        Emerging technologies and market trends
·        Funding criteria: What’s changed?  What’s stayed the same?
·        Venture valuations
·        Key insights to successful ventures and landmines to avoid
