This Event is now full.  Our next Heliski Adventure will be Friday March 26, 2004 to Sunday April 3, 2004

Marco Thompson invites you (or a colleague) to the Ultimate HeliSki Adventure:

Where: British Columbia: Adamants lodge at CMH http://www.cmhski.com/Adamants.htm

When: March 14 - March 23, 2003

What: the Worlds BEST skiing and some great Telecom Networking

Who: the TOP Telecom People in San Diego

Why: Why not?

I have secured 15 spots at the world's TOP heliski facility for friends of the Telecom Council. There are a few spots which have not yet been claimed. I have been heliskiing with CMH for 12 years now, and I can tell you that it is a world class operation. The food is European gourmet, the staff is great, and the skiing is unbelievable.

Who is invited?

We have invited a select group of Telecom Entrepreneurs and Sponsors of the Telecom Council. If you are invited but are not available to attend, you may forward this message to other individuals inside your firm who are avid skiers, and who are "connected" in the communications business. You may also forward this email to entrepreneurs in the communications/Telecom business. As we have limited slots available, interested parties with the highest levels of commitment to Telecom (top sponsors) will be handled first, and the rest will be satisfied on a space available basis.

Do I need to be an expert skier?

No, but you do need to be an advanced intermediate skier. Snow Boarders are welcome, but you must be an expert.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. The staff attention to safety is legendary. Guides ski at the head and tail of all groups. All visitors are trained on avalanche protocols, including use of radio locators. See the web site for more details.

How much will it cost?

The week of heliskiing is roughly $4900 US. You will also need to book roundtrip airfare to Calgary, and pay for 2 nights at the airport hotel at Calgary (roughly $90 each)

Can I write it off?

In addition to the intimate networking provided by this venue, we will be holding evening lectures and executive mentoring sessions. The relationships you build or enhance on this trip will serve you well into the future.

What about CTIA?

If you need to go to CTIA this year, this is not the trip for you... On the other hand, mid-March is historically the BEST week of heliskiing in Canada.

What do I bring?

Cold weather ski clothes and your ski boots. Special skis for deep powder performance will be provided. Snow Boarders must bring their own boards.

When do we leave?

We fly to Calgary arriving the evening of Friday March 14. We stay at the Delta Calgary airport hotel overnight. We transfer to the lodge Saturday morning. We return to the airport hotel Saturday evening March 22. First flight out of Calgary Sunday AM March 23. You must book your own travel to & from Calgary.

What if I am interested?

Time is of the essence. We have a limited number of positions available at this time. Simply send an email to marco.thompson@windriver.com I will get back to you...
