Telematics is becoming one of the hottest topics in the world. With revenues that will reach over $100 billion by 2005, it has garnered not only the attention of top auto manufacturers and wireless service providers, but also a host of other industries wanting access to the vehicle and its occupants as they travel our streets and highways. Along with all of this attention comes the dilemma - just what type of business is Telematics anyway?
Science Applications International (SAIC) is one of our Nation's largest systems integrators and Neil Cox will share their perspective on what the opportunities are in Telematics, for whom and what it will take to make this a profitable business for all involved.
