January 2006, CommNexus San Diego added to the growing international alliance by signing an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the Wireless Innovation Network of British Columbia (WINBC). This MOU is the second alliance that CommNexus has formed with the goal of aiding San Diego communications companies in conducting business and partner with international companies.
The organization's first MOU with Cambridge Wireless in the UK was signed on December 8, 2005, securing a partnership in Europe. As the European alliance provides a tie to companies in Europe, CommNexus' MOU with WINBC will help to provide opportunities for joint ventures, licensing and partnership between companies in San Diego and British Columbia, Canada.
